Welcome to a tour of the Island’s Nine Rail Tracts to sight see the awesome sceneries of our land like no other. See how much the former colonials had adored this remote land. Once inside the Train be ready to ‘capture’ the memorable sights of the still lush green landscapes as one elevates up to an altitude of over 2300 meters above sea level and feel the distinct differences of the climates from the warm coastal areas to the cool refreshing temperate climate of this small Island.
Daily Itinerary
Day 01 – Arrival – Bandaranaike International Airport / Negombo Transfer

- On Arrival you will be welcomed by our representative, who will be your chauffeur guide of the tour. You’ll be boarded into our comfortable vehicle with the baggages & dropped off at the hotel to refresh.
- Later you’ll be chauffeur driven to take a City Tour of Colombo including a Panoramic view of the capital, from 260 meters above sea level to Colombo’s brand new ‘Lotus’ Tower. Having taken a “Bird’s eye’ view” of the nearby ocean, the skyline & the sprawling settlement below, you may want to enjoy a variety of entertainment options in the complex & driven back to the Hotel to relax.

Day 02 – Colombo / Kandy Transfer
- Embark the Special TRAIN to Kandy
- En route: Sight See the views of remote Sri Lanka & the Colonial Stations. Take a City Tour of Kandy & the Sacred Temple of the Tooth, Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens / Arts & Crafts, Visit the War Heroes Cemetery / Tea Museum.
- Evening Watch the Kandy Cultural Dance Performance

Day 03 – Kandy / Nuwara Eliya Transfer
- Embark on the TRAIN to Nuwara Eliya.
- Enjoy the tantalizing views of the rolling hills of the Central Highlands. On disembarkation visit the Race Course, Golf Links, Lake Gregory, Victoria Park.
- Take a City Tour to see the Colonial Architecture and Visit a Tea Factory & Plantation & Taste BOP Tea.
- Accommodation: Overnight at the luxurious Nuwara Eliya Boutique Resort
Day 04 – Nuwara Eliya / Ella Transfer
- Embark on the TRAIN to Ella
- En route: Sight See & Capture the awesome sights of the ‘Mountain line’ of the hill country as the railroad descends down from 2300 to 1000 meters above sea level.
- On arrival in Ella, visit the Little ‘Adam’s Peak & the Nine Arches Bridge – all made of Stone by British Engineers.
- Accommodation: Overnight at the luxurious Ella Boutique Resort
Day 05 – Ella / Yala Transfer
- Jump into the car and start your journey to Yala for five to six hours. In Evening: Jeep Safari to The Yala Wildlife National Park.
- Accommodation: Overnight at the Yala Protected Campsite with Bonfire
Day 06 – Yala / Mirissa Transfer
- In Mirissa, step into a Boat to Go Whale & Dolphin Spotting to the Horizon. Evening – Take a Cookery Class to take a ‘Hands On’ facilitation to prepare seven Sri Lankan Dishes & enjoy the tastes in the food that you cooked.

Day 07 – Mirissa / Bentota Transfer
- Board the TRAIN to go to Bentota. In the evening, get ready for a Boat excursion on Madhu Ganga. Bird Watching and visiting a Turtle Hatchery to see Turtle homing in to nest on the shore is a must.
- Accommodation: Overnight at the luxurious Bentota Beach Resort
Day 08 – Bentota / Colombo Transfer
- Board the TRAIN to return to the Capital “Colombo”. In the evening, visit the beach to relax, kick back & unwind.
- Accommodation: Overnight at the luxurious Colombo Beach Resort
Day 09 – Colombo / BIA Transfer
- If time permits prior to Departure to the Airport – feel free to take a dip in the vast Indian Ocean by the beach and to collect souvenirs of your amazing visit.
